IT Svit will soon be certified by AWS, GCP, Terraform, Kubernetes and Docker!
It is well-known that respectable businesses invest much effort into confirming their skills and quality of their services through certification with relevant market leaders. So does IT Svit.
We are one of top 10 Managed Services Providers worldwide according to international business rating company Clutch and are ranked as №2 in TheManifest list of top 50 global IT outsourcing leaders. As it goes, we receive quite a lot of requests from businesses of all sizes to provide IT consultancy, cloud infrastructure healthcheck and optimization, or transition to the cloud. We also provide cloud migration from AWS to GCP and vice versa, develop custom Big Data analytics solutions, or build dedicated teams for full-stack software development, etc.
Many of our potential customers wanted to see certain proofs of our skills — they preferred to work with AWS-certified cloud architects, SRE-engineers, Big Data architects, etc. While we lacked these certificates at the time, in the end, the customers were persuaded by nearly 20 positive IT Svit customer reviews on Clutch and after some pilot tasks went full-on with their projects with us.
Obviously, certification is quite a powerful argument in favor of choosing a team. This is why we are currently undergoing the process of certification by AWS, GCP, Terraform, Kubernetes, and Docker. Quite soon IT Svit will become a Service Partner of these platforms. In addition, we are implementing the internal professional growth program to train junior DevOps engineers according to the requirements of the future certifications, so all our DevOps team will be certified with time.
AWS certification for IT Svit
IT Svit has enrolled 4 DevOps engineers in AWS certification program. They will receive AWS Certified Solutions Architect — Professional level certificates, and we will be able to add “AWS-certified” badge to IT Svit website. This will prove our ability to manage AWS infrastructure and build custom cloud solutions and CI/CD pipelines using AWS features and products:
- Design and implementation of dynamic, scalable, resilient, reliable and highly-available apps on AWS platform
- Selecting the appropriate AWS services for designing and implementing the projects according to requirements
- Migration of complex apps and software ecosystems to AWS
- Design and implementation of scalable workflows for businesses of all sizes
- OPEX optimization strategy implementation
GCP Certification
Google Cloud Platform is another important pillar of cloud computing services. We use Google Kubernetes Engine quite often in our projects, so Google certification is a valuable and important milestone for our team. 4 of our DevOps engineers will obtain Google Cloud Architect certificates and IT Svit will become a Google Services Partner. This will prove our team can do the following using Google Cloud Platform:
- Design and implement a cloud architecture
- Build and manage a cloud architecture
- Plan for compliance and security from the start
- Audit and optimization of infrastructure and processes in place
- Provision and manage cloud infrastructure
- Build resilient and reliable solutions for operations
Terraform Certification
HashiCorp provides ample opportunities for companies that use HashiStack to grow their business and reach a wider audience through a wide network of HashiCorp Partners. Once our DevOps specialists finish the HashiCorp Technology Provider training, we will add the HashiCorp certificate badge to our site. It will prove IT Svit expertise with:
- Using Terraform to create, manage and destroy virtual worlds
- Using Vault to store secrets and sensitive data
- Using Consul for service discovery, system health checks, and load balancing
Kubernetes Certification
Kubernetes is the backbone of modern cloud infrastructure, and we use it daily to manage products and systems for multiple customers. Our cloud engineers will soon complete the Certified Kubernetes Administrator training to prove their skill and expertise in the following:
- Application lifecycle management with Kubernetes cluster
- Kubernetes installation, configuration and validation
- Cluster networking, scheduling, security and maintenance
- Kubernetes monitoring, logging and troubleshooting
Docker Certification
Docker containers are a crucial part of software delivery workflows today. 5 of IT Svit DevOps professionals are currently undergoing the training to become Docker Certified Associates (DCA) to make our ample expertise clearly visible to potential customers:
- Application containerization
- Docker registry operations
- Container security and compliance
- Workflow optimization for containerized apps
Final thoughts on upcoming IT Svit certification
Over the course of the next several months, we will complete these 5 certifications. This will help to both increase our visibility through the aforementioned partner networks and prove our expertise to potential customers. Of course, there is quite a lot of certification variants and it is impossible to receive all of them quickly.
Thus said, we will concentrate on certifying our core areas of expertise first (DevOps services, Big Data solutions), but we have very ambitious plans, which we are going to accomplish in due time! We will probably add another website section dedicated to IT Svit team certifications — and we will surely add new certificates there regularly!
